Apex® protects sites with AWS hosting, TLS encryption (AES-256), protection against distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attacks, routine backups and a health check dashboard available 24x7. It also includes controls that support GDPR, CCPA and DPDP Act compliance.
Where are Apex® sites hosted?
Apex® sites run on scalable AWS EC2 instances, with auto-scaling for peak and high-traffic demand. Auto-scaling adds capacity when traffic rises, which helps keep pages available and responsive during busy periods such as campaigns or seasonal peaks.
Does Apex® encrypt data?
Yes. Apex® uses TLS encryption (AES-256) to protect data as it travels between visitors' browsers and your site. Encryption helps keep information such as form entries and login details private while it moves across the internet.
Does Apex® protect against DDoS attacks?
Yes. Apex® includes protection against distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attacks, in which large volumes of malicious traffic try to overwhelm a site. This protection helps keep your site online and available to genuine visitors during an attack.
Does Apex® help with GDPR, CCPA and DPDP Act compliance?
Apex® includes controls that support GDPR, CCPA and India's DPDP Act compliance. These controls help you handle personal data responsibly, but compliance also depends on your own policies and practices, so your organization remains responsible for how it collects and uses data.
How often does Apex® back up my site?
Apex® takes routine weekly or monthly backups to keep your content safe. Backups mean content can be restored if something goes wrong, such as an accidental deletion or a problem after an update.
What is the Apex® health check dashboard?
The Apex® health check dashboard is available 24x7 and shows the health of your site. It helps you and the Cyberdunes team spot problems early, so issues can be investigated before they affect visitors.
How should my team manage logins in Apex®?
Give each person their own Apex® login rather than sharing accounts, and remove access as soon as someone leaves. Individual logins make access easier to manage and stop former staff or contractors from keeping access to your site.
Who should have admin access to Apex®?
Limit Apex® admin access to the people who genuinely need it. Fewer admin accounts mean fewer ways for settings, users or content to be changed by mistake or misused if a login is compromised.
What should I do if I notice something unusual on my Apex® site?
Email support@cyberdunes.com straight away if you notice anything unusual, such as unexpected content changes, unfamiliar user accounts or login problems. Reporting quickly gives the Cyberdunes team the best chance to investigate and limit any impact.
