What Is Agile and Scrum Training?

Agile is a way of delivering work in short cycles, guided by the values and principles of the Agile Manifesto. Scrum is a lightweight framework for that work, defined in the Scrum Guide (2020 edition).

Our training shows your team how to make Scrum fit your organization instead of copying a framework that does not fit. Teams practice together, so everyone builds the same rhythm.

FAQs

Questions, Answered

Can’t find what you’re looking for? Our team is happy to help.

What is Agile training?

Agile training teaches teams to deliver work in short cycles and improve as they go. Our program covers the Agile Manifesto and Scrum. In Scrum, self-managing teams work in Sprints, and each Sprint produces a usable Increment.

Does the training follow the Scrum Guide?

Yes. We teach Scrum as the Scrum Guide (2020 edition) defines it: the Product Owner, Scrum Master and Developers; the Sprint, Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review and Sprint Retrospective; and the Product Backlog, Sprint Backlog and Increment.

Who is this course for?

Product managers, product owners, project managers, team leaders, engineering teams, marketing managers and product operations staff. It also suits professionals building a Scrum foundation before a Scrum Master exam (PSM and CSM are issued separately). There are no prerequisites.

Can we book Agile training for our company?

Yes. Corporate training runs at your office or in your preferred city, or your team can join a public classroom. We group people by skills and goals and tailor the modules to your company. Your intellectual property stays private, so teams can discuss real backlogs openly.

Will participants receive a certificate?

Yes. Participants who complete a program receive a certificate of completion issued by Cyberdunes and Ritors Product Nexus. It is not a Scrum Master certification: PSM and CSM are issued separately.

What does Agile training cost?

We do not publish fees. Fees are customized for your team based on the number of seats. Public-session fees are listed on our registration partner's page when sessions are announced, or you can ask us through our contact page.

What is the difference between Agile and Scrum?

Agile is a way of delivering work in short cycles, guided by the values and principles of the Agile Manifesto. Scrum is a lightweight framework for doing that work, defined in the Scrum Guide, with specific accountabilities, events and artifacts. In short, Agile is the mindset and Scrum is one structured way to practice it.

What does the Agile Manifesto say?

The Agile Manifesto sets out four values and twelve principles for delivering work. Its values favor individuals and interactions over processes and tools, working software over comprehensive documentation, customer collaboration over contract negotiation, and responding to change over following a plan. The Cyberdunes training explains what these mean for a team's daily work.

Where are public Agile and Scrum classroom sessions held?

Public Agile and Scrum classroom sessions run with a trainer in Mumbai, Delhi NCR, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Chennai, Kolkata or Pune, with training material provided. Companies can also book a private program at their own office or in a preferred city, tailored to their projects and kept confidential.

How long does the Agile and Scrum training take?

The duration and schedule of a corporate Agile and Scrum program are agreed with your team during scoping, based on your goals and how much practice you need. For public sessions, timings are announced on the registration partner's page when sessions are scheduled.

What is backlog refinement?

Backlog refinement is the ongoing work of breaking down, clarifying and sizing items in the Product Backlog so they are ready for Sprint Planning. In the Cyberdunes Agile training, teams practice writing user stories, sizing work and refining their own backlog, so Sprint Planning starts with items the team understands.

How does a corporate Agile training program work?

A corporate Agile program runs in four steps: share your goals and current way of working, have the modules tailored and participants grouped by skills and goals, learn in the classroom by practicing Scrum on your own backlog, then complete the program and receive a certificate of completion from Cyberdunes and Ritors Product Nexus.
